The difficulty of access control installation lies in the installation of electric locks. What electric locks are installed is mainly determined by the door. Therefore, the more basic question is, "What kind of door are you?" Learn:
Simple points, the door can be divided into glass door, wooden door / metal door (security door)
Wherever possible, it is recommended to install an "electric plug lock"
The so-called condition refers to the vertical thickness of the upper door frame is greater than 4.5cm
The electric plug lock is concealed, and the lock body should be buried in the entry frame. The above picture shows the more common installation method of the electric plug lock.
1.1 Covered glass doors
More common installation methods
No need to use any extra accessories
1.2 Glass door with upper frame and no lower frame
No hemming at the bottom, so the keyhole is fixed with the help of the "lower door clip"
1.3 Glass doors without borders
Need to use the "upper door clip" to fix the electric plug lock, "lower door clip" to fix the lock hole
Advantages of electric mortise lock: Concealed appearance looks beautiful, can open the door inside and outside 180 degrees.
Disadvantages: Not as strong and durable as magnetic locks, digging keyholes, and tedious construction.
2. Wooden door, metal door (security door)
It is recommended to install a magnetic lock
Advantages of magnetic lock: strong and durable
Disadvantages of magnetic locks: the door can only be opened at 90 degrees, that is, it can only be opened inside or outside.
2.1 Hanging installation without auxiliary bracket
No bracket needed, more common installation method
Requires the door frame to be more than 3cm above the vertical surface of the door
Typical pictures of hanging installations are shown below:
2.2 L bracket auxiliary hanging installation
When the door frame is not wide enough, the L frame is used to expand the width of the door frame so that the magnetic lock can be "hanged"
2.3 Internal door opening, ZL bracket auxiliary installation
For hanging installation, the direction of the lock is opposite to the direction of opening the door. If the door is opened inward, the lock is installed outside, and if the door is opened outward, the lock is installed inside.
Sometimes the door is opened internally, because of aesthetic considerations, it is not desirable to lock it outside. At this time, the installation can only be assisted by the LZ bracket.
